Kelly has been working both on and offstage for over 20 years. Her training has ranged from The Royal Shakespeare Company to various master classes and seminars at The University of Hartford, The University of New Haven, Albertus Magnus College and Western Connecticut State University. She has appeared in national commercials and movies. She has been teaching and directing children and young adults for 10 years and is currently in the process of writing a play titled "Shakespeare for the Completely Uninterested" to help teach Shakespeare in schools.
